We look at West Ham forward, Sebastien Haller, and his first season in the Premier League compared to his last in the German Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt.
He’s played around the same amount of football for both teams. This season West Ham are currently 16th whereas Eintracht Frankfurt finished 7th last season. His work rate for West Ham is 0.78 (attempted actions per minute) vs his work rate last season which was 0.83.
The main difference can be seen with his attacking VPM. A 0.9 difference indicates he was more effective and/or there were more attacking opportunities for him as opposed to this season where he’s doing slightly more defensively. These numbers are reflective of the team’s respective positions in their leagues.
